This is yet another simple concept relative to the effectiveness of your SEO. Simple stated, Domain trust is dependent upon the age of the website. An older site is more “trustworthy” to Google, and gets more attention from their filters, as a result.

While it is impossible for a new URL to have the same quantity of domain trust as a well established site, this does not mean that an upstart website can’t rank at the top of the search engines.
